Every page shows its level badge, so you can hand out sheets without making a fuss about who is on which level.

How it runs

• Lesson 1: warm-up, key words, converting with a place value chart and three worked examples (convert, compare, word problem). Students start their level.
• Lesson 2: students finish their questions, colour their picture and check it against the answer picture on the slides.
• Lesson 3 (optional): move up a level or do the More practice page, then put the pictures up.

• MA3-NSM-01: recognise whole-number and decimal representations of mass, convert between units and solve problems with different units of mass
• MA3-RN-02: compare decimals up to 3 decimal places

Good to know
